Privacy Policy

BuyerCue is operated by APSquared (“we”, “us”). This policy covers two groups: people who visit or hold an account with BuyerCue, and businesses whose public information appears in our database. For either, contact us at info@apsquared.co.

You can search without an account, and we collect no account information when you do. If you create an account, we collect:

• Identity: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and profile image that provider shares, plus the link between your account and that provider.
• Account activity: your token balance, a ledger of token grants, purchases and spends, and the companies you have unlocked or exported.
• Purchases: once paid checkout is live, a record of what you bought and when. Card details are handled by our payment processor, and we do not see or store full card numbers.
• Messages: if you use the contact form, your name, email, optional company and message. It is delivered to our inbox and kept there so we can reply. You don't need an account to send one.
• Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and requested pages, used for security and debugging.

• to sign you in and keep your account secure;
• to maintain your token balance and give you access to the companies you unlock;
• to process purchases and keep records we are legally required to keep;
• to detect abuse, such as multiple accounts or scraping; and
• to answer your messages.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, use it for advertising, or send you marketing email. We send you a sign-in link when you request one. If you write to us, we reply by hand from our own inbox. We send no automated or marketing email.

We use only the cookies needed to run the Service: a signed session cookie that keeps you signed in and short-lived cookies that protect the sign-in flow. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We share account information only with providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed for that purpose:

• database and application hosting;
• Resend, to deliver sign-in emails and contact-form messages;
• Google, if you choose to sign in with it; and
• a payment processor, to take payment for tokens.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

BuyerCue's database describes businesses. We compile it from publicly accessible web pages, such as product directories, launch boards, marketplaces and companies' own websites. We never log in, bypass paywalls or access controls, or use leaked data.

For each business we may keep its name, website, product description, category, pricing, public signals of marketing spend, and public business contact channels such as a published role address, contact form, phone number or company social account. Each value is stored with the page it came from and the date we saw it.

We do not set out to collect information about individuals. We do not collect personal addresses from domain registration records or personal social profiles, and we do not verify contact addresses by sending mail to them. A published business contact point can still identify a person, for example a founder's work address used as a company contact. Where it does, we rely on our legitimate interest, and our users' interest, in business-to-business discovery using information the business chose to publish.

Because this information is gathered automatically from public sources, it may be inaccurate or out of date. See the Terms of Service.

If you represent a listed business, or your details appear in a record, use the contact form or email info@apsquared.co to ask us to correct or remove it. Please send the request from an address at the business's domain, or tell us how we can confirm your connection to it.

Removal is permanent. The business is added to a suppression list so that it is not shown, not exported, and not re-added when we next scan public sources. That applies even to users who unlocked the record earlier.

We keep account information for as long as your account is open, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax, accounting or security reasons. Business records are re-checked periodically and marked stale when not re-observed. Suppression entries are kept permanently so that removals stay removed.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to your data-protection authority. To make a request, use the contact form or email info@apsquared.co. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time the law requires.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to the database. No system is perfectly secure. Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States, and where required we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

BuyerCue is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use account information, we will make that clear on the site before it takes effect.
